To those of you who use Craigslist...
Have you ever tried answering an ad that was out of your area? I've been pointed to the site a few times, but I don't know how effective it would be since I live about 1,000 miles from anyplace I'm looking at. I know people have had success with it in their immediate area, but how about otherwise?
I think I just need to pick up and move someplace.

and ok, so dad ran into someone I graduated high school with a few days ago. Supposedly she asked how I was, which I find hard to believe since she never spoke to me then. Normally I could care less about who my dad runs into, but I'm kind of afraid of what he told her. I worked really hard to try and prove that I wasn't a loser to everyone that taunted me or talked about me behind my back (which was like 3/4 of my class). That speech I gave at graduation was in a way, a big "F you all, look who's the successful one". And I don't need people back to thinking I'm a loser. I don't think it would matter so much if I didn't live here.

Ashley found a place to live for three months in San Francisco, from Pittsburgh, using Craigslist.

Gah, I know. Mom runs into what she calls my old "friends" sometimes too, and I can't believe they ask about me, but apparently they do, and I have no idea what she tells them. Though I guess it doesn't really matter, they'll think I'm crazy anyway.

Does it make me a loser that I always check the Craigslist Missed Connections? It's bookmarked when I open my internet explorer.
