I've had my computer for 3 fucking weeks and the wireless card just decides to stop working on me! What's worse is that the guys at Best Buy say it will take 3 weeks to fix.
God, can't something go right for once?

Fixed. I guess my wireless card had decided to disable itself? Either that or after the Best Buy took it out and put it back in, it needed to be reenabled before it would work. The Sony people knew this and geek squad guy didn't apparently. Either way, it works now and I can stop freaking out.

Why aren't they replacing it...it's gotta be under warranty?

It is, but they didn't have Sony wireless cards at Best Buy so they'd have to have sent it in.
I called the Sony people and they had me do a few things and works fine now though.

Arg, that sucks. And I can't believe it would take that long to fix. I think the Best Buy guy is being a jerk?

They didn't have the part.
But it works ok now, the Sony tech support seemed to know what was going on?

a) your icon is gorgeous. Probably you've used it a lot, but I never noticed before because I have icons turned off on my account because I mostly look at my flist at work :P

b) YAY WIRELESS. I had the same sort of issue with my mom's laptop when I went home for Christmas. There's a button on her laptop that enables the wireless, and none of us knew it until my mom accidentally pressed it and suddenly it worked. \0/

c) I hope you like the stories :) I want you to learn the magic of trickc!!
