Can I admit that I am scared about the weather right now? Things are fine in Michigan, but all this extreme weather across the country is making me really nervous about what the rest of the summer will look like. If this is just some freak happening, or if this is what global warming is gonna look like in the future

You have every right to be freaked out about it. I was recently thinking the same thing. :/ (Like every few days...))
The weather here in Fla seems to be ok too. So it's like, we're just WAITING for it to be "our turn". :( Thankfully things in Michigan seemed more on the quiet side compared to the rest of the midwest and stuff this past Winter/Spring, huh?
But absolutely, it's scary.
