That was one pretty sweet opening ceremony. Usually I get bored during some part of it, but I didn't with this one. It had me intrigued the whole time.
As far as torch lightings go, nothing will ever top Barcelona, but this one was pretty cool.

Tomorrow the events begin!

That cycling event through the landmarks of China looks really cool, must watch that. Swimming of course. oo and rowing is on tomorrow!

I kinda flipped channels during the opening ceremonies this year. But the Tai Chi part was very impressive, to have 2000 people doing the same thing, very cool.

I'm with you, bring on the events!
