Yesterday in olympics was a night for sweeps- Jamiaca swept the women's 100m, Russia swept women's singles tennis. I didn't bother with gymnastics last night, and was streaming the women's triathalon live instead. The woman who won in her final lap had to jump a barrier b/c she'd been directed the wrong way. Oops. She also managed to lap someone. A lap in the running portion was a mile and half.

In other news, today sucks. My boss was yelling at me to finish something that I could not get done until the newsroom fixed an error *they* had made. It wasn't my fault someone put the wrong ad in the paper, gr. The coworker I don't much like was supposed to be gone having her knee fixed today, but turns out it just needed a brace and she was back by noon. So much for a quiet day. Add to that the fact that I had to listen to her tell what happened at he doctors about 10 times this afternoon, when once was really enough.
Oh, and I have a major toothache. My half-molar is bothering me a lot. It's my lone baby tooth, since the molar never came out the whole way (hence the half), so I wonder if there is another tooth trying to come in above it. I can't get into the dentist until I come back from Miami.
