Question of the day- where do you buy your dress clothes at?
I'm looking to extend my work wardrobe and could use some ideas of where to look.

Allergy season has started. Dammit.

Express occasionally has some really good stuff. Depends on how fancy you want to look. I find that if I buy cheap, the clothes don't last and I have to replace them anyway, so it's better to just get quality stuff straight off. Banana Republic... I *wish* I could afford clothes there :P They have nice things though. If you're looking more business casual, the Gap is always good.

I agree, I have The Editor pants from Express in practically every color lol They're normally expensive, but I wait until they have their big sales and they go for $30 or so. It's hard for me to find pants that fit well, but I find that the Editors fit me well. The Limited also has nice pants, but again - wait til the sales :)

I buy my clothes at JCPenney or Kohls. You can get quality stuff there on sale, you just have to look for it. Apostrophe is a great line that Penney's carry.

New York and Company. There are a few near me in the Chicago area... not sure if they're in Michigan though. Their stuff is good quality, not too expensive, and usually very flattering. All my favorite work clothes are from there. Also, as musiquedevie said, Kohl's is a good bet if you're willing to spend a little more time to find the good stuff.

Goodwill usually has some pretty good stuff, if you are willing to look for it. I got 5 dress shirts and 3 pairs of dress pants there the other day for 35 dollars.

I'll second the New York & Company--they have quality, fashionable, but professional clothes. Also Kohls sometimes.
