Hi everyone! I made it! I am still tired and have a runny nose now, and am really hoping that I do not come down with what my mom had before I left. She was out of work for like 3 days.
I am waiting for the landlord to get here so I can get my keys, pay desposit, sign lease, and all that jazz. Then I am off to Walmart for an air mattress to sleep on tonight. And some other random things, like a map of Austin so I don't get lost! Even though I probably will. I did see the Ikea on the way in (not like you could miss the dang thing, it's pretty darn big), and I will definitely be checking that out later. Much later. When I actually feel like buying furniture. Right now I am pretty much too tired to do anything.

The place is nice, roommate is nice as well. Washer/dryer looks a little...old, but at least it's free. Driveway is on about a 60 degree incline, so I will most likely be parking on the street. It's a residential area, and doesn't look to be a problem.

I think maybe now it's starting to hit me that I'm not going back. Like, before it just felt like a trip. But I am 1300 miles away, and it hasn't entirely sunk in yet that going 'home' isn't easily doable. And yes, this despite the fact that I've been driving for three days.
