puszysty at 10:20pm on 04/10/2008LJ is slow today, thus I post. Never did make it to landlord's party. His house is like half an hour away, and I've done enough driving already this past week, thank you. I have also sworn off errand running for at least a day. I still need more hangers, a curtain rod that isn't broken, and a dresser eventually, but eh, it can wait. I have food, I have a bed. And now I have a desk...sort of. It's in pieces in my room (pretty much describes the state of my room period). Thanks to phaballa, I made my first ever trip to Ikea today! That store can really only be described as a furniture orgy. Kudos to whoever thought of putting a cafe in the middle of the store, because that's genius, really.
So I've basically been lying on my new-to-me super awesome couch watching Mythbusters and Triple D (making a mental checklist of places to visit around here) this evening. I don't think I've seen my roommate more than 15 minutes all day. Probably will head to bed (yay bed!) soon, as I had to be up at 5 this morning to get my friend to the airport.
