I like Hope. I love Hope. Everyone is so friendly here, really.

BUT
I hate that everyone (or maybe just my cluster) discusses religion kinda regularly. I'm not particularly religious. I haven't been to church in a while, due to trouble finding one in our area, but everyone asks about your denom and stuff. And also just the fact that like...we discussed waiting, but while everyone else's parents are totally "no sex" mine are "be safe". just as an example.
I'm almost a liberal here, its crazy.
I'm taking a religion class (requirement) that discusses how minorities few the Bible and the prof included in his book gays. I have no problem with that particular community, but I just know that words are going to fly if we get into that in class. And I fear people would be hurtful. Most likely not, because the prof is Hispanic and uses most examples from that perspective. But just the conservatism is kinda uncomfortable for me.

Ok I've said enough. This is totally rambling I know, but I just needed to get that out.

Indeed it is. Church attendance isn't required like at most religious colleges though.

Wholesomeness, I believe was the word I was looking for before. Its a little too wholesome for me.

1 other crazy thing- 80% of students marry other Hope students. Nuts isn't it?
