I don't know why I come up with my most profound thoughs right before I go to sleep. Maybe it's reflection on the day, maybe it's some subconscious thing. The following is what's been on my mind late at night lately.

The real issue of gay marriage

I don't know whether anyone will be offended by this or not. No crude comments in my reply box though, please.
And if I got any of my facts wrong, please do correct me.

it's so crazy that you post this the SAME day that we covered this topic in my gov class. Yeah, I don't understand this whole debate. I just don't see the conflict, is it over taxes, is it over the word "marriage", is it over the associated benefits? but yeah, I would really like to have someone explain it to me, rationally, and if you feel up to it (although alienating yourself in a new school isn't the first thing in your schedule) have an all out discussion with someone. I sorta did it with someone about abortion and it was a good conversation. but UT's ALOT bigger than Hope.
