I should be in bed right now, so I can go to bed at a decent hour tomorrow, but...
My roommate is out on the town tonight. She seems to do that a lot- not go out on the town, but just randomly go places and not let me know until 5 minutes beforehand. It's not that I want to track her whereabouts, it's just that I'd kinda wish she invite me along every once in a while when she goes to the movies or whatever. At the rate I am going, I feel like it will be years before I ever meet people down here. I'm not an extrovert, it was hard enough for me in a setting there where hundreds of people my age in one place.
That was my biggest fear about moving really. That'd it be Germany all over again. I'm still worried about that.

Sometimes the roomie situation can be weird. A lot of roomies just want to be roomies and not friends. Though, I'm sure she wouldn't mind showing you around a bit. My first roomie in Atlanta was awesome-- still would be, but her boyfriend moved in and I didn't really want to live with a man.
