There are only 6 days until my birthday, and I would like to point out that I am wearing shorts. SHORTS people. This is definitely a first.
I was browsing my flist, and saw someone's pic365 picture of their room, and I may have found a way to have my books here! Not all of them, but more than the handful I have now. Lookit!
The reason I couldn't get my books here is that the only space I have for non-closet storage is my bedroom. The living room is being taken up by my roommate's 2 gigantic bookcases, which are both full. This one is only a foot wide, meaning it would fit in the space between my dresser and the wall. And it's only $15! I can totally afford that (once I deposit my checks on Monday, that is). Books!
One of my friends who is working for an engineering firm mentioned to me in passing this week that his comapny is sending him to Mexico for a week. It was just a "sounds cool" kind of thing until he said that they were staying in McAllen, TX and working in Reynosa, Mexico. McAllen isn't day trip distance, but it's certainly a lot closer than Michigan! I'm waiting to hear back about what his schedule is going to look like for the week, but I am excited that one of my friends will be in Texas. :)
Oh, and also, Lance on Monday!

Can you hang bookshelves on the walls, above the bed, say? That'd give you more scope.
