I almost rear ended some idiot on my way home today. He decided to pull out in front of me as I was going 45mph. I was in the middle lane mind you, not the right lane which he should've pulled into from a driveway. Stupid Austin drivers.

I learned something new at work today. In Texas, you have to live at separate addresses in order to file for divorce. I don't know how divorce law works in other place, like Michigan, since I have no family members who are divorced and I haven't lived through the experience (I know, weird, right? I have one aunt who married in who had been previously divorced, but other than that, nobody), but it seems different to me.

Does anyone know? How does divorce work in other states?

One of my friends lives in FL and just got divorced. There's no such thing as separation in Florida. You're married, and then you're not and everything you do until the second you're divorced can be kind of used against you. And they have a child, so she was scared to pieces that he was going to demand full custody.
