Stupid LJ, why won't you work! grrr

Just finished reading We The Living, by Ayn Rand. What a depressing book. I get that it's more about the ideas than the actual plot, but damn. Has anyone read it and would care to discuss?

It was still dark when I left for work this morning. Not pitch black, but the sun hadn't come up yet. It was weird, it's never dark when I leave. What was even weirder was that traffic was really light. I actually went 40mph most of the highway instead of 15.

My cable company removed the TV Guide channel from its lineup recently. I bought an issue of tv guide magazine to have a programming guide and what do I discover? They only list primetime! Fail, TV Guide!

I kinda feel like I've been posting into a vacuum lately. Where is everybody?

I hate getting up before the sun. I'm convinced it's unhealthy and that the world should not start before 9am.

I have read We the Living. But do not really care to discuss. Ayn Rand was fucked in the head, badly. Plus it was a giant rip off of 1984, only instead of capitalism being evil, socialism is evil. Lamesauce. The Fountainhead is much better, because it at least has a story and characters. Although, it also has rape. Because all women are asking for it, according to Rand.
