Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! I'm going to celebrate not by drinking green beer (because beer is nasty), but by eating green peeps. Yay peeps!

Ho-lee crap. Either one of the stray cats in my neighborhood has been eating steroids or there is a small tiger roaming around. I saw this thing from four houses down thinking it was a dog until I saw the tail, it was so huge. Seriously the biggest cat I have ever seen in my life.

Picked up my photo at Walgreens today, since I forgot last night. Reminds me...last time I was at Walgreens, I ended up parking next to a car that had a Michigan state parks decal in their window. No lie.

I also had an impromptu interview at work. *fingers crossed*

You learn to speak German but you don't like beer? That's unexpected. ;)

(why yes, I love my stereotypes)

Beer is gross! The only kind I can tolerate are Radlers, which they don't sell in America.

That's because Radler isn't real beer. ;)

Beer is an acquired taste. I came to like it when I watched the last soccer world cup in bars - just me and a bunch of really old guys -, and the gentlemen kept buying me beer. Until we lost the semi-final and I had been brainwashed.

So you'll just... uhm, have to watch soccer and drink a lot of beer. Obviously. :D

Nah, the next one is only next year. :) And we'll host the women's world cup in 2011! Very much looking forward to that. It will be like Christopher Street Day but only for lesbians, and lasting much longer.

Silly me. I forget it's every 4 years. I put shame upon the picture of myself with the trophy.
Supposedly my city has a pro team, but nobody cares about pro American soccer.

I must admit I can't make sense of that line. Or otherwise - huh? Help me out? :)

I guess part of the allure of soccer is being part of a huge community and being in an arena with lots of screaming fans. I've watched American football. It's fun as well although I don't get all the rules.

Also, love your icon. :D

I put shame upon this picture (http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-sf2p/v30/206/54/11400148/n11400148_30155982_7696.jpg) for not knowing the world cup is only every 4 years.

I don't get all the rules of American football either. lol

I was in Freiburg when the trophy went on tour. I only had one class that day so I went to join the commotion. :) (I'm still astonished how small it actually is..they had us stand like 5 feet in back to make it look bigger!)
