Earlier today landlord calls and says some guy wants to come over and see the place. Ok, fine by me, still wary about the possibility of living with a guy, whatever. Says he'll be here around 6.
It's 6:30. I just got a text message from landlord saying "he's not coming". This is the second time this has happened. I'm starting to question landlord's judgment.
I had gotten a hit on my ad a few days ago from someone local who wanted to come by and see the place. I emailed back with my phone # saying to call if she wanted to set up a time. Nobody's called. This really isn't going well.
Guys in the other half move out April 30. I've got a month to find a new tv and coffee table. I'm going to talk to him later and see about buying the couch off of them. If whichever one wants to keep the couch, I'll have to look for a new one of those too. :(
If the job I am *this* close to getting pays more than I currently make, I'm going to look into a new place come June. Living alone is so much better than putting up with a roommate, I'm finding. I certainly wouldn't have to deal with situations like this. :P Admittedly, I'll miss having all bills paid as part of rent (which makes life a lot easier, but I can deal). And I've developed a bit of an affection for Dinner, I think I might actually miss his crazy self.
