I log on the my FL and nearly every post is about DreamWidth. I feel like I should be bracing myself for a mass exodus from LJ shortly. Bah.

Sorry, I'm in a bitchy mood. My mom keeps pestering me to start looking into buying a new car. I'm starting to look into finding a new apartment- someplace that's not dumpy, not far from work, and within my price range. I can't do both at the same damn time. I don't need that kind of stress.
Neighbors are blasting their music again, for like, the 4th day in a row. I will be glad when they are gone, which should be soon. It's getting super annoying.
STILL no luck on the roommate thing. I am ready to stab something on account of that.

I have a tv now. It's a 22 inch LCD. I didn't think I'd be able to afford an LCD, but since I bought the display model, I could. I'm still trying to figure out how to get it to recognize all my cable channels. At least I have CBS come Sunday.
Mood:: 'bitchy' bitchy

Is there something wrong with the car you have now? I plan to drive mine until it is dead. I don't understand why people feel the need to get new cars when their old cars still work!

Moving is expensive. You're right--you can really only do one!

My car has like 170,000 miles on it. It'll probably give out soon, but right now it works ok. Brakes are squeaky, and I need to get those looked at, but that's about it. My mom has been pestering me for a while, but I'm holding off.

Eh, I had a 1985 mazda that had 250,000 miles on it and I didn't get rid of it until I left for Americorps and didn't need it anymore. I always feel like, if my mom really wants me to get something, she can buy it herself!
