I've found a new love: dill pickle flavored pringles. I've had the habit of drizzling pickle juice over chips for years, so it was about time I actually tried a pickle flavored chip. And I was not disappointed.

Came today to find kitty from this past week's pic365 post napping in the same spot in my driveway for the third day in a row. I think I should give it a nickname. Any suggestions?

Oh hey, [personal profile] lls_mutant, I torrented those films that the Narcho in glasses caps are from, and I have to say, he makes the most adorable boyfriend/husband ever. The movies themselves aren't bad either.

A tip for anyone giving blood: just because you're on a diet doesn't mean you should skip the cookies/crackers/whatever they give you afterwords. (yes, someone at work did this yesterday, the way I understand it happening anyway. in short, bad idea.)

Cool!

I was reading a few reviews and people seemed to think that the movies were decent. I'm thinking I'll have to check them out at some point.

He looks like he's adorable in the caps.

Just watched it. Aw, Donald and Timmy are too cute, and hot, and truly are a gay and less continuously sloshed Nick and Nora Charles (though they do consume their fair share of martinis, but if they drank as much as the Charleses, neither of them could've driven anywhere). I also didn't even guess the twist in the mystery at the end, which I'm usually pretty good at, so that's a plus. There were a few...odd points (I think they went a bit anviliciously heavy on the stereotypes for the "villains"/suspects, and WTF was up with that one nude scene? I mean, it just came out of nowhere...and also was not Timmy or Donald), but it was fun.

Two things that made me giggle and think the director was channeling lls_mutant:

1) The actor who plays Skulls, the ultimate utility character of BSG, is in the movie, too.
2) Timmy, the character the actor who plays Narcho plays, was in the seminary on his way to becoming a priest.

I so need to watch these. (Need a night when the hubby is out of town, and that won't happen for two weeks.) But yeah- that's what I heard, that the mystery was actually pretty good.

Hee! Skulls!!! :)

And you're kidding- on his way to becoming a priest? That's priceless!!!!! (And yes, now I must watch it. I might have a fic kink for gay guys with deep religious beliefs. I made Sirius want to be a priest, one of Felix's kids wanted to be a priest, I definitely toyed with the idea of Hoshi wanting to be a priest when he was younger, and one of my original characters is gay and extremely religious, and his partner's estranged brother is a priest. (And I so want AJ to play the partner and Naveen Andrews to play the brother.) Interestingly, I don't know many deeply religious lesbian roles. Huh.

Must watch these.

Before you get too excited, I should clarify, the seminary thing is part of Timmy's back-story and ends up being helpful to the investigation, but it's not anything really deeply developed. Still, I remembered your fic with Sirius and your mention of the fic kink, and it made me laugh.

One of Felix's kids? I think I must've missed this fic. Which one is it?

Doesn't matter. :) It's just nice anyway.

Felix's kids- I meant Alex in I'm No Superman. Not biological children. :) Sorry!

Skulls was in it? I missed that.

Yea, the nude scene was really random. The second movie has one too (also neither of the leads).

Yep, he's the fireman.

I'm tempted to track one of the movies down, too. I read a review that described it as being very Nick and Nora Charles, and since *The Thin Man* movies are a favorite of mine, *and* it would be an excuse to ogle Sebastian Spence (I'm still recovering from the screencap of him in bed, shirtless but with glasses on), what do I have to lose? :)

I could probably upload them if they're small enough for a free server. Shock to the System is probably the best of the three I've watched.

I'm having a bit of trouble with this one. The last one had a link where I could play it in Megaupload's videoplayer rather than direct dl'ing it, but I don't see that on this one. If it's a pain to change it, don't knock yourself out. I'm not familiar with this website, so I'm just checking to see if there's some way to watch it with their player that I'm just missing.

To be honest, I have no idea what I did differently with the first one. :/ I don't use megaupload often either.
