*squeeze* Being sick on the holidays is something I seemed to be blessed with every single year gorwing up LOL. I don't think I'd be a happy camper if I had to go to class tomorrow that way OR drive in the snow that way. (I get groggy when sick...medicated or not.)
So growing up in the northeast, I can offer you a few tips on how to handle driving in the snow better 9we're getting the same damed snow storm as you btw). You may already know this stuff, but

~If you have front wheel drive, always go with the direction you slip in, don't try to correct the turn until you have the skid under control, it will make it worse.

~Screw the guys in back of you...if you aren't going fast enough for them (30-40is is fast enough on the highway in low visibility/heavy snow)let them pass you.

~Keep as good a car distance behind you and the person in front of you as you can, and DON'T brake fast. When you brake in the snow use soft, quick taps, with as little pressing down as you can use.

This stuff has helped me in those stinkin' Nor-easters anyway. I hope you feel better soon and have a safe trip. Happy Thanksgiving darlin!
