I pulled a neck muscle in my sleep or something Friday night. Saturday morning I woke up in excrutiating pain. I didn't get out of bed for an hour because it hurt too much to even move. It's not excrutiating anymore, but it still hurts. And nothing is helping, heat compress, aleve, muscle relaxant, nothing. I just took a muscle relaxant and when I got up from the couch I was reeling. So now I'm watching QAF to stay awake.
It's funny these Canadian actors that keep popping up. Uncle Vic and Justin's mom both appear in the Strachey movies. And chiropractor guy looks so familiar, but I have no idea where I've seen him before. Do any BSG actors show up later? I'm sure someone does.
I love that they all drink Jones Soda at the diner. Jones FTW! I love that stuff.
I'm only on season 1, so no spoilers! I started watching this with my college roommate (well, one of them) a couple years ago, but then she got me hooked on Degrassi and we didn't have the time for QAF. Ah well.

In conclusion: gay boys are fun, neck strains are not.

Sorry the neck strain still hurts!

I just watched the first Strachey movie. You know, it's actually really nice to just see a stable couple in the movies, gay or straight. Where they, like, support each other and everything. Wow. And Donald wasn't even tempted by the idea of infidelity (not saying he wasn't enjoying the view, but yeah- there was NO WAY anyone was getting between them.)

Add me to the Donald/Timmy shippers. I'm wanting to make an icon.

And my love for Gaeta/Narcho has totally increased again. ::Sigh:: It's funny. I just wrote the Dee-solo one for my fic, and I couldn't resist this line:

Well, it was just that she'd seen Louis naked, and frankly, she sometimes wondered what the hell Felix was seeing when he told her that he was really into this guy.

Now, Noel… Noel was cut. That was… hey, wait. What if it had been Noel that walked in on them?

After seeing this movie, I totally stand by that.

I might have to write this one up for MRFH. There were some things I really liked about it, and a few things to pound on (wow, a little sanctimonious, are we? Sheesh. Also? I used to live near Albany. That wasn't Albany. :) )

But thanks SO much for uploading these! I'll have to check out the next one tomorrow night (and start the download earlier!)

Another shipper has joined the ranks! :)

Re, sanctimoniousness: yeah, see what I mean about wanting to kill the client myself? All I can say is that the second one is much, much better about not doing that sort of thing. There is WAY less pontification on all sides, and what there is ties into the story a lot better than it does in the first one.

Although, it is funny how so much of the US looks like British Columbia, isn't it? (I still giggle at mountains in Kansas in the old episodes of "Smallville").

How could I not? They were so, so, SO cute. (Both really hot guys, and really obviously in love without overdoing it.) Dee is really tugging on my arm now and wanting her Dee/Narcho section written.

And yes, I think I nearly slapped the client through my computer screen. Especially the stuff about AIDS patients. I mean, I agree to an extent, but WOW. And I find it hard to believe that ALL straight cops look the other way in a gay crime. (It wasn't like it was set too far back, not if the client was blogging.) Even in Albany.

But they were so sweet. And like I said, it's so RARE to see a couple like that in the movies. I mean, they didn't do a subplot where one of them cheated on the other or there was a weird misunderstanding... they just were supportive and loving of each other and a part of each other's lives without being joined at the hip. It was normal.

::sighs happily:: Although I was also amused at Chad Allen's Canadian accent in Albany as well :)

Oh, I've been meaning to ask about this: I tried watching the third movie a couple days ago, and the video and audio were way out of sync. The other two movies worked just fine. Do you suppose it's a problem on my end, or do you think the file got mixed up en route? Just thought I'd let you know.

Um, not sure. I'd have to have someone else download it to double check.
Still can't get #4 to work. The deal with megaupload is that if someone has previously uploaded the file, when you go to upload it, it defaults to the previous one. You wouldn't happen to know of any other large capacity servers, would you?

Sorry, afraid I don't know anything about file sharing/uploading/etc. I may just have to break down and try to rent the last to from somewhere, though I have a feeling they'll be tricky to track down.
