Anybody who knows anything about medicine or anatomy- does the spinal cord in any way interact with the cardiovascular system?

From what I understand from my chiropractor, all the nerves of the body go through the spinal cord and if the spinal cord is injured or out of alignment, it can cause issues with whatever the pinched or damaged nerves go to. Verebrae 1C (neck) and 2T through 5T (mid to upper back) appear most closely related to the cardiovascular system.
