I found out that I can wear a costume to work on October 30. \o/ Since my BSG outfit is shoulder bearing (my genie outift, which is slightly mismatched, involves a halter top, so that was out), I went out to see if I could find a green jacket to complete my BDU outfit. Lo and behold, I got one! Even better- it has motor oil stains on it, which since they are red and black, looks like I fought off a minor explosion on board. :D

Anyone know where I can find pins and patches, so I can doll it up a little?


Also, I heard on the radio that they are canceling Dollhouse. I'm surprised my FL is not up in arms at the moment.

I read it wasn't canceled but only put in hiatus, like for November. That it was going to come back after sweep week. Maybe that accounts for the lack of people up in arms.

Yeah, I heard the same thing that [livejournal.com profile] luxshine did--they're doing the full 13-episode run that FOX ordered, but they're taking it out of the lineup until after sweeps. Realistically, there's no chance it'll get renewed, and though last night's episode was awesome, I'm okay with that. It sounds like they're going to get an "ending" of sorts since they have pretty good advance notice that it's ending, which makes me happy.
