Now he *has* to do Henry V--because I *know* Henry does *not* die in that one (not to mention gets to give the single greatest pep talk in English literature). It would be playing against type! What actor doesn't want to do that? ;)

Ah yes. We few, we happy few, we band of buggered - as Buffy the Vampire Slayer would have it.

Of course, Henry died only a few years after the end of the play. I can't remember if there is foreshadowing, but if there is, would it count as a virtual death scene, death scene in abeyance, or some such thing?

I can see the death scene thing developing into a running gag for this community, that's all.
