I haz a TiVo! I had thought I would need a cable card (since that's what the people at Best Buy told me), but it turns out I didn't need one. Woo!


One of the skeleton competitors has a PhD in materials engineering. Builds his own sleds. So cool!

According to the announcers, ski jumping used to be insanely popular in Germany. That would explain the insane amount of ski jumping that I watched in 2006. They showed about every jumper in every round. I was so sick of ski jumping after a while. Lol.

It got somewhat unpopular when all the good jumpers retired, and the last one left went gaga. But it was fun while it lasted.
