I attempted to go to bed early last night...until the people one apt over and one down all went out onto their porch (there were like 4 of them, so there may have been guests) and started up some heated debate at like 10:30. The walls here are insulated, but the windows are paper thin, which means I could hear every word they said. So I went out onto my porch and asked them to keep it down. They went inside, then 20 minutes later, were back outside talking again. Look, I don't care if people use their porch, but at least be courteous as far as time.
This isn't the first time they've done this, and not the latest they've been out either. I once heard them talking on their porch at 4am on a Thursday. I'd consider complaining to the super, but I don't know what good it would do.
