I don't know how I'm going to go to work tomorrow. It hurts to move, my legs are burnt so badly. I had pizza delivered from a place that is literally down the block and takes like 5 minutes to walk to, because the idea of going anywhere makes me cringe. Even a trip to the bathroom is a challenge.

Not to mention I sort of have a date tomorrow? Just some guy I met at a recent meetup. We're going to Whole Foods for dinner and then mini-golfing...I think I'm gonna call a raincheck on mini-golf.

Even aloe multiple times a day doesn't seem to be helping much. :(

Epsom salt in a cool bath should help with the pain of the burn. Redhead here...I speak from a lot of experience.

Oh, sadface. :( I hope you heal soon. That sounds like a fun trip if you were feeling better.

Sorry to hear that you're hurting. I would keep going with the aloe; even if it doesn't seem to be doing much now, it can help you heal better so that there's less blistering later on. And, like the other commenter said, Tylenol or Motrin might help, especially if you're getting joint pain or anything like that.

*hugs*

Hope you feel better soon!

Holy crap! What did you do, Ray?

When I was perhaps 8, I was out in the sun all day without a shirt at camp. I had severe second degree burns all over my back as a result, with huge, mushy blisters. I hope you get better soon.

I found having my mom read Tolkien to me fairly soothing. YMMV, of course. Mom's not as vibrant as she was 30+ years ago.

I was at an outdoor track meet for 4 hours. Forgot sunscreen, as I hadn't needed it in months
