Saturday- Woke up, did something I can't remember what, had lunch and played pool. Woke up some people to solidfy dinner plans for the evening, since I had to get to the game. Had to go the basketball game for pep band, which lasted longer than usual because it was the last game at the Civic Center so they had to do all this ceremonial stuff. Got out of there at like 5:30. Not a very good thing, considering I had to meet some guys for dinner at 6:15. Still, I was able to get ready within 45 minutes, though I didn't do anything with my hair, there'd have been no way to get it done. So then me and 4 friends went out to dinner, Pizza Hut because we were all really broke after buying tickets for the dance, plus its fun to go to someplace like that really dressed up. :) After dinner we squeezed in my car and headed up to the Amway Grand in Grand Rapids for Winter Fantasia. Got there, we checked our coats and Hussein checked his saline solution lol (don't ask). We were there from 9 til 12, when it ended, though we stayed and took some pictures in the hotel lobby. I had a blast.

Here's where it gets interesting- 12:30, 1 ish I notice my lights getting dimmer so I exit the highway to restart the car so they'll be bright enough to get the rest of the way home. Car doesn't restart. So we push it over to the shoulder and call someone else form Hope to take us home. We had to wait a while, but with 5 of us in my dinky little car, we kept it plenty warm (the windows even fogged up!). Next day, or rather later that day, I have a friend drive me up to where I had left the car to jump it and see if we could get it going. Doesn't work. Thank goodness I have AAA and was able to get it towed. So now my car is in Grand Rapids having the alternator replaced. No buying anything for the next 2 months, because I am officially broke now.

My weekend in a nutshell. Never a dull moment around here huh?
