Ok, damn, that's a hard one.

Well for starters, they'd been planning this for months. Tom knew his brother was going to die. If he hadn't died, Louis would have hated him, and he couldn't have lived with that. It was better for Louis to hate his uncle, since the two of them weren't terribly close to begin with. Tom was okay with that, because the way it worked out was really what was best for Louis, his brother, and all of Sagitarron.

Tom missed his brother, sure, but to him, he died a hero. And he really admired him for what he did. Tom dedicated his book to his brother- "For [brother's first name]- a man who gave everything for what he believed in. Without you, this would not be possible."

Okay, that book dedication nearly made me cry. :) I still adore this story, btw.
