This actually makes me feel like my school was progressive- then again, I exploited a loophole in my yearbook dress code. Boys had to wear ties, and girls had to wear black tops- so I wore a black dress shirt with a tie (and then have since passed off my yearbook photo as a dude on the internet but that's another story.)

The only stipulation for my yearbook was that your photo not go too far below the shoulders. You could wear whatever the hell you wanted.
