(Incidentally, Jesus NEVER, EVER said anything about homosexuality. He only preached to love others as we would be loved ourselves and all that. And that story where that quote comes from? It's about him forgiving a woman who's been caught in the act of adultry. (Interestingly, the guy she was screwing wasn't going to be stoned- just her.) Adultry is one of the biggest no-nos in the OT, and Jesus urged his people that it's not their place to judge, but God's. Plus, there's always Jed Bartlett's speech in The West Wing about Old Testament stuff and what bullshit it can be.)
I'm right there with you. Don't take my religion and use it to hurt people. :P
