I can rent movies from my tivo! It's so cool. :D

Question on the movie Bent- I know [personal profile] lls_mutant has seen it, I don't know about anyone else- according to Tivo/Amazon, it has an NC-17 rating. Is that rating because of general Holocaust nastiness, or something else?

I read an article on the local newspaper's website the other day, where a woman said that for her and her (deceased) husband's first date, they went to see Schindler's List. What the hell, what kind of date movie is that???

Worse than general Holocaust nastiness, actually. They try to force the main character to prove he's straight by having him rape the corpse of a 13 year old girl. I haven't actually watched it yet, but I know that scene is in there.
