Day 28 - First TV show obsession

TRL. Ever wonder why I have such a good grasp on Nsync canon? This is why. :)
I used to TRL every day after school, from roughly about the time I Drive Myself Crazy came out in 1999 until about when Cry Me a River was retired in 2003. I saw the video for Bye Bye Bye all 72 times it aired on the show (before the retirement date was dropped down to 60 days). I own the TRL book. I wanted to be in the audience (especially on one of the numerous days where Nsync showed up). There simply is no discussion of my teen years without TRL. There's quite a lot I remember watching, the VMA specials, the performances, Backstreet announcing AJ was in rehab, JC on the show after 9/11, Snoop Dogg reading The Night Before Christmas. It was classic, man.
And say what you want about Carson Daly, he really made the show. Once they replaced him with a barrage of VJs, the show really lost something.
