I got a new pair a few months ago. I may or may not have shopped around to find a pair like Dr. Emil's. :3

That is the worst feeling. Are they returnable at all? The pair I'm currently wearing are that pair for me. Unfortunately to get them so I could afford them they had to be no return/no exchange.

Maybe you'll feel better about them in a few days?

I called and asked, they aren't returnable. I got them from the eye doctor and didn't think to ask about that sort of policy.
