puszysty at 01:21pm on 15/09/2005I'm going to the World Music Festival in Chicago this Saturday. I just barely made the bus- I was number 56 on a list of 55, but one person cancelled. :) It's actually an event through my old hall, but a friend of mine who's still living there told me about it. I saw a couple sophomores on the list (the dorm is 97% freshmen) and thought, heck why not. So yay that I made the bus and am actually going.
The speaker last night was awesome. He just basically told his story, which was really compelling in itself. Speech lasted an hour and a half.
I swear, I'm insane. I'm in like 5 clubs already this year. International Realtions Club, which meets on Fridays twice a month, HAPA which meets every other Wednesday, Hip-Hop Dance meets at 10 pm every Thursday, German Club don't know about that yet but we don't meet often, Hope Rebuplicans meets once a month on Tuesday. And I want to get involved with Gay/Straight Alliance which meets Wednesdays I think (I still have to get info on that). I had wanted to get involved with that since the latter part of last year. You see the madness in all of this?
