Wrap your mind around this one

"There is no Hell, for that means there is a place where God is not, and there are sins which exceed his love."

Just thought that was an interesting statement.
It actually comes from an Indian religious philosopher. I've been reading passages from such philosophers, and I find myself agreeing to some of it....like their view religious pluralism. And how one guy denounces conservatism since the progression of society is natural.

I went to Chicago yesterday. It was for a "world music festival", which I thought would be just in one area, but nope. We were all over Chicago in places I'd never seen before. We were in actual downtown for about 2 hours at the Celtic festival. That was pretty cool. The first place we went was Garfield park, and there was nothing going on there really at all. But in general, it was a good trip. I got to try Ethiopian food for the first time. It's pretty good- a bit spicy and you eat everything with your hands :D.

As far as my guy situation is going...well, needless to say, I still don't know much. I just haven't had the opportunity to find out anything. I'll let you know if there is any turn of events on that front, but there might not be for a while. :P

You should send it to a church down here. I was coming back from a trip last spring and passed through a medium sized town and saw a church who's sign out front said," If you don't love Jesus, the Devil can have you back."

Everyone in the car was in shock. Churches like that give religion a bad name.

I like that quote, being the philosophical type and all. Who was it that said it?
