So there's this speaker coming to Hope today doing a thing called "Can I Kiss You?". I'm convinced its part of a conspiracy to get us all married before we leave.

Check this out- my potential schedule for the remainder of my college career.
After study abroad next semester, all I will need for my International Studies major is one non-Western course and Foreign Policy. I have a German minor at the end of this semester. For a major I need 3 more German classes, if I get an internship abroad, I'll have one of those down. For my Gen Eds, all I need is a Science class, Senior Seminar, and one credit of performing arts. What does this mean?

8 credits IR + 12 (maybe 8) German + 9 Gen ed = 29 (maybe 25). 16 credits a semester is norm. fall + spring = 32.

Conclusion: I can double major and graduate in 3 years.

Are you gonna go to see that speaker tonight? I'm kinda intrigued in a weird sort of way.

Don't think so. I still have that ever elusive history paper.

I should have never gone to that book sale. About half the books there were on international relations type stuff. I had to contain myself- I only bought 3.

I saw it and, as I thought, a major theme of it was respect and awareness of rape issues. Which of course goes perfectly with my idea of more respectful balanced people leading to a more peaceful and less hostile world. Although he did certainly draw distinctions between the way sexes do things. I suppose I can't deny it though, I just tend to attribute it to cultural norms and slight biological tendencies. One day these barriers will be broken though if I have anything to say about it! Well, ttfn!
