Talk about my awesome luck- fall break happened to fall on the weekend of a marching band competition at Lakeshore (Stevensville, 5 miles away). Have I mentioned how much I love watching marching band competitions? Bridgman's was there, they had a Star Wars show this year, it was pretty good. There were some really good bands there, like Portage Central who did some kind of water themed show. District marching band is this wednesday, which I would love to go to because Benton Harbor is gonna be there (if you've ever seen the movie Drumline- their shows are like that. way cool), but alas I will be back at Hope by then.
So basically I'm using break to hang out with my friends that are here and eventually I'll do some homework as well. I booked my flight for Germany today. Thought I'd do it while tickets are still around 300 bucks. I'm doing an overnight flight to Frankfurt, leaving the 10th of January. Which means I don't have to spend my birthday on a plane, yay!
