I am ticked off. You would think that "going away party" means "Hey, come by and see me before I move and it's a few years before I see you again". One of my friends does not seem to get this somehow. She lives in this area and doesn't work weekends, but all I got out of her, after some prodding is "I'll try". ARG! If she's got some important family function, I wouldn't be mad, but if it's just that she doesn't want to drive here I will be pissed.

Ok, I'm stewing and there's next to no one online right now, so forgive me while I vent.

I've had like 5 people tell me no for this thing. It's not like I didn't give enough notice for this thing I'm planning- a week and a half is plenty of time on my friend's clocks usually (heck, most of us plan stuff only 3 days in advance). But darnit if everyone a number of people have plans already! I just....gr. I don't know when I'll be able to see everyone again, you know? I think I have every right to be upset.
