Thank you [personal profile] truekat for the card! And also thanks Lucy for the chocolate! It finally arrived. :)

My department doesn't want to let me leave apparently. I am back again next week, rather unexpectedly. But hey, I am all for it. I just need to write lots of mtyg this weekend.

I'v decided to join in on the things that make me happy meme. How many days is it, 8? Whatever.

Today's thing: Fuzzy things! [profile] la_di_dum and [profile] therealsolitare will tell you that I absolutely cannot resist anything fuzzy. I have lots of wonderful fuzzy things at my house: 4 fuzzy blankets- which are amazing for chilly days, a fuzzy pillow, fuzzy socks, and this, which is quite possibly the best room accent I have ever purchased. It comes in lots of colors besides pink, but pink was all they had in stock when I bought mine a year and a half ago, and it matches my bedding anyway. Mine currently sits in the area in front of my bedroom door, which is tile floor. Fuzzy under my toes on my way to the shower is much better than the cold hard tile.

I'm bored.

I shouldn't have watched 5 episodes of House last night and actually saved some for today. Bah.
Maybe I should go rent Dead Poet's Society.

Still bored, but now rather amused.
I love finding out about famous tv personalities who appeared in music videos early in their careers. Has anyone seen the music video for Billy Joel's Second Wind, featuring a very young Adam from Mythbusters?

This is the video for Annie Lennox's Walking on Broken Glass embedding disabled, boo. Hugh Laurie is pretty recognizable, depite the powdered wig.
Anyone think JC was having Annie Lennox fantasies when he came up with the video for Some Girls?

Also, Bruno from DWTS was one of the fantabulously gay dancers in this Elton John video.
Ah the things you find on wikipedia.
