Was offered to stay til 2 at work today, but turned it down. I'm already working 45 hours this week, and I don't want to stay at McDonald's any longer than I have to.

I tried on a push-up bra at Kohl's yesterday, in the effort to find something that gives the illusion that I have somewhat of a chest. All it did was provide extra padding on the bottom, then the top rim stuck out about half an inch from my chest and just looked like a bra that didn't fit. Maybe the straps weren't tight enough? Does anyone else have this problem.

By the way, if you are ever looking for bras, I would highly recommend Barely There. Bought some of those yesterday and wow are they comfortable.
Hopefully my mom doesn't decide to steal them. My mom steals my bras all the time, then wears them out so I can't wear them anymore. It's annoying! I've stopped wearing sports bras because she'll take all of them and never give them back, or give them back with the support worn out. Gr.

Barely There is awesome. They're very comfortable. On my last big shopping trip, I needed a couple new bras and on a chance, I stopped in Gap Body. Wow. Very comfortable! They're like Barely There; soft and fits nicely. For someone who hates bra shopping (right up there in my book with watching BloSox and getting my wisdom teeth out), it was a remotely nice experience. LOL

My strapless are from Gap Body. I ike them a lot, and they were only 20 bucks. My friend that I roomed with last summer works at Gap Body so I'm in the store a lot. They have really comfortable underwear too.

by the way, sweet icon. :D

I can't believe your mom steals your bras! Threaten to call the cops on her! LOL

Bra shopping sucks. I swear they're all designed by men who don't have a clue or really just want to torture women!

We wear the same size, and she would just claim them all as hers. I tried writing my name on the tags for a while, but the ink came out in the wash. :P
I'm just glad we don't wear the same size shoe!

If I wore a push up bra I'd take someone's eye out....sigh.

I hate bra shopping! Mostly because of my mismatched boobs. Argh.

Well, bras aren't my expertise, but

1) the cup size could have been too large (different bras have vastly different cup sizes even if they're all supposedly "B"s or whatever...I have bras that are As, Bs, and Cs!)
2) the band size could have been wrong (too large?)
3) Yeah, the shoulder straps could possibly have not been tight enough

http://www.herroom.com/bra-fitting-advice,901,30.html Calculate what size your bra should really be

The bra padding at the bottom of pushups kind of helps your boobs if the bra is snug enough so the breast rests on top of the padding. I don't know what cub size you normally are, but sometimes push-up bras really don't do much if you don't have much to work with (I'm really a B-cup and they don't help me out much) I REALLY like Target's bras, surprisingly. I'd check them out.

My mom and I don't wear anything near the same bra size, thankfully!

I have very little to work with, sadly. Stupid A cup. :P

I was an A cup until I gained 30 pounds in college. :-P
