I slept entirely too long last night. But considering that I didn't feel well all day yesterday, I'm trying not to feel guilty about it.
ERS called me this morning. The opening they have in their call center is only 15 hours a week. I would definitely need a second job if I went for that one. I'm going to call back tomorrow (the person I spoke to is not in this afternoon) and get more details- like how flexible I would need to be as far as schedule.

In the mean time, I'm scouring the Sunday classifieds. I'll head for the restaurants at 2pm to drop off the apps I picked up yesterday.

Go for the 15 hours, because that stuff always increases. Attrition at call centers is very high, so there will be opportunities for you going forward, and if you have a degree, they may look at you for leadership there.

Agreed, and let them know you're open to more. Our company runs call centers (we actually run one for EA Games down in Austin, not sure if they're hiring but check out iEnergizer of Texas) and we hire about 15 agents a month, per center, JUST to cover attrition.
