Well Stephanie, if it makes you feel any better, I've been roleplaying online in a Star Trek bulletin board based community since September 2000. That's right. As long as you've known me, I've been doing that. I actually was promoted to the rank of Commodore this week. You just need to practice it, and take into consideration the comments that people have on it. Sure, there will be one or two assholes who totally tear it apart, but there will also be some who give helpful pointers to help you grow as you write.
