On tonight's ep of triple D, Guy went to a Basque restaurant in Boise, Idaho. I find that all kinds of bizarre and awesome. Basque in Idaho, who knew?

Not at all bizarre. Boise is home to the largest concentration of Basque Americans in the USA.

being good in every subject tends to leave you a bit directionless.
Um, or it opens many doors for you. Some people would rather have the options open to them to make the right choice for them. I don't think that people would count it as a blessing if they were doing poorly in subjects that they were interested in.
