If it makes you feel any better, I really don't think you need to worry about the roommate situation. Your lease is up soon, and you're going to move, right? And then you won't need to worry about that OR the neighbors.

I'm moving only if I can find a place that's worth moving to that I can afford. Plus, the neighbors are in the process of moving out themselves, they're just blasting music as they pack.

You should use an apartment locator. It's free, and they can find places that you can afford. And then you won't have to worry about that stuff.
