I've been reading a book about the history of Sesame Street (over 50% about its pre-television development, which is a bit disappointing considering it took 4 years to develop but has been on air for almost 40 years now). Anyway, I'm getting to the part where they talk about casting, and I didn't remember a lot of the people they mention, so I youtubed them. Nothing like digging up the goodies.

Who wants a little Jean Luc Picard singing the ABCs? :D

I've seen the Ben Stiller one on the air. We watch a lot of Sesame Street around here. How bad is it?

1. I've come up with the idea for "Battlestar Triangula", where Telly is Adama, Oscar is Tigh, and Elmo is Gaeta. ("Elmo-Gaeta just wants to help!") And Telly waxes on about how the Trilons have invaded, but now we must realize that we're all part triangle or something like that. (Look, it's not like I put THAT much effort into it.)

2. I ship Chris/Leela. Let me clarify this: I have a Sesame Street ship. No, I don't write fanfic for it. No, I don't even want to THINK about them having sex. Yes, they are at least two of the humans. But I have a Sesame Street ship.

I so need more friends that are grownups.
