I mean if you're really not looking, you could have been upfront about that- friends are always nice to have, but boys following you around hoping to get something you're not that willing to provide are kind of a pain. Though I guess it could be fun if that's what you like. I just think you're more likely to keep someone as a friend if you start a friend and not revise dating to friendship a few dates in.
I mean then again this guy doesn't sound like he was really worth the effort, so...

But yeah, dating is weird. I've always thought our culture does things the wrong way around. Wouldn't it make more sense to get to know somebody, *then* date?
