I may have just ruined my vacation.

Having way too much fun with my new phone. Also, bored at work.

Someone in another division was by my cube recently, saw my JC magazine clipout and told me they own Schizophrenic. This made me ridiculously happy. Yay fans!

Question: Besides airports and AAA, where can you exchange money in the United States? It's been 4 years since I've done it (and yet I still have Florint lying around my house), and last time I was in Canada my debit card wouldn't work, so I don't want to be stuck.

This morning, I had what was supposed to be my final dentist appointment. I was gonna get the crown for my implant, then have a spiffy new tooth and finally be done with seeing the dentist. Thing is, they went to go put it on, and the tooth had been cast backwards. So they had to take another mold (not a pleasant experience), and now I have to wait *another* 3 weeks before I can get this done. For those keeping track, that would be the week immediately before I move.

The only plus side to this was that when I called work to tell them my appointment ran over and I wouldn't make the start of the meeting, they told me I wasn't needed at the meeting. I used the opportunity to run by the post office and get my phone.

Moving (and worrying incessantly if everything is going to fit in my small car) has got me so stressed, every little thing that goes wrong makes me feel like bursting into tears. My new cell phone was supposed to show up today, but instead the post office stuck something in my mailbox that said I can come get it from them on Thursday. Problem: The post office closes at 5:30 and there is no way in hell I can make it all the way there in half an hour after work. There are no back-ways in Austin, period (which is why traffic is so bad here). I leave for Canada on Saturday. The phone is through a new provider, which means service to my old one is getting shut off, which means I'm not gonna have cell service if I don't get this phone. I'd go after my dentist appointment tomorrow morning, but if I did, it might make me late for a very important meeting at work. I don't know what I'm going to do.

29 out of 34! Arg, so close to placing this time! I'm just impressed with myself that I got #6 right. Totally a shot in the dark guess (I picked an episode that was post-Gaeta getting shot and that was about it), all those mid-season 4.0 eps seem to run together.

I'm really bitter that I had to work today. Especially since almost every other state agency was close today.


And then what? What about a robot that reads to your kid? Um, Teddy Ruxpin anyone? (Man, I knew the bear wasn't really alive, but I thought they were cool.)

Perhaps I should start packing tonight. Or at least make an inventory of what I need to bring. I hear it gets "cool" in Vancouver at night, how cool are we talking?

Home Improvement reunion on Veroniaa Mars! The youngest brother show up at some point too?

It finally stopped raining today. (which was great for this morning since the bar I was at is half outdoors.) However, sun + fact that it's been raining for 3 days straight = 66% humidity. It's gross. They're also calling for more rain all week long, which will mean even more humidity. Frakking hurricane.

This is why I'm glad I'm going to Canada in week. I'll finally get some nice cool weather.
