Okay, the meme is the Timestamp Meme, only I'm not going to do ficlets--just answers for what's going on at any time in the timeline before or after any fic. Actually, I might as well call it the "Fic Open Season" meme: any question about any fic I've written is game.

Since the US and World ones are popping up, here's my Europe one.



Granted, you can't see all the tiny countries in there, like Liechtenstein and Luxembourg (which, yes, I have been to as well).

I haven't read them all yet, and pretty much everything I've read has been good (BSG remix, it seems to bring out the best), but here are a few of my favorites (minus Postcards from the Edge, which I recced yesterday):

Her Cloudy Trophies (The ‘Go Not to Lethe’ Remix). Dee fic, and I should warn that it's dark, but it's so good. It explains, for lack of a better term, Dee's suicide and delves into her frakked up relationship with Lee.

What Happens in the Conference Room. Pure unadulterated crack!

Job 38:4. If twisting the Bible around makes you uncomfortable, this is not for you, but if you like the interplay of those themes into BSG, this is a good one.

Primum Non Nocere (The Hippocratic Remix). Cottle fic. Enough said.

Measure of a Man (the Thoughts and Actions Remix) Almost what I'd consider to be a meta on cylons.

Just Another Incident in the Alcohol Storage Room Nails Ellen just perfectly.

Decrescendo (The Dead Letter Box Remix). I'm 99.99% certain this is a kappa story, and given that I love pretty much anything she writes, this is really no exception.

Five Things Cavil Cherished About Killing Shelley Godfrey Unapologetically brutal, just the way Cavil should be.

“The Gold and the Grey (Edge Hill Remix)” Unapologetically creepy, the way Leoben should be.

Overall, I had a great weekend these past couple days (congratulations again, therealsolitare!).

I could have done without the 2 hour delay out of Chicago. Remind me not to book a late night flight again. (My one in 3 weeks gets back to Austin at 7:30, thank goodness.) I did find out that had my plane landed 15 minutes earlier, I could have gotten caught up in a high speed pursuit. I don't think I've seen more emergency lights and cop cars all in one spot than when I was rerouted around the end result of that last night.

You can tell it's the weekend- less comments on remixes.

I of course have to rec the one written based on a story of mine- Postcards From the Edge. It's the backstory behind my original, and what Felix does with his giftshop that he sets up. prophetkristy, you should definitely read it because it's Felix-Dee friendship fic!
(Actually, so is Best Seat in the House (Traditional Voyeuristic Intentions Remix). Don't be fooled by the pairing, it's actually a Felix-Dee fic!)
