Ability to chew is being regained. Slowly. The stitches in my mouth still really bother me. I just want it to go away. :(:(
Tonight for dinner is balls of mozarella cheese. Which was all I was going to have until I discovered a thing of Crazy Bread Sauce my dad left in my fridge. It's a delicious combination.

I've successfully got my dad hooked on BSG \o/

Last night, roughly around 3:30, my body decided it didn't like the hydrocodone I was on for pain. So it rejected it, and thusly everything I ate or drank after I started taking them. Needless to say, I don't feel so hot today. No more pills for me. Good thing I'm really not in much pain.

Back. Numb and in a mild amount of pain. I was expecting to be there a while, but it only took an hour. I'm surprisingly coherent at the moment.

I am rewatching The Passage for purposes of fic. Man, Gaeta was pissed when Tigh came back to the CIC.
I think this is the first episode since Resurrection Ship with both Narcho and Hoshi. Or was Hoshi in Torn?
And who the hell cares if Kat was a drug runner? An ex-terrorist is the vice president for frak's sake.

I am attempting to make quiche. I fear impending disaster. First off, I didn't realize I didn't have a rolling pin when I made the crust, so I had to use a turkey baster instead. It's round, it rolls. Thing is, I didn't get the crust quite wide enough, and with the amount of egg mixture it called for, it sort of...overflowed. I think I can manage to get some of the spillover out, since it will cook faster than the rest. Heh.

Can you tell I'm not much of a cook?

ETA: The crust sucks. I goofed that up somehow. The rest didn't turn out quite so bad. Not well enough for me to attempt again, I think.

I had a dream last night that the cast of Battlestar all worked at my agency in Customer Benefits in between gigs. Don't I wish?

Then some huge issue came up with QDROs, and I had to mail out these packets to people, but not before the attorneys had a meeting to sort the mess out. The guy who plays Hoshi, he had been working with Ken (who is the actual guy at my agency who does all the QDRO stuff up in CB), and he knew the background of what was going on, so I got to work with him.

Note: this is me wishing my job was more important that it is. Usually if an emergency pops up at work, I am the last one involved. And the idea of a QDRO emergency is rather sort of ridiculous.
