Well, it's almost Thanksgiving, and since I need to figure out if I bought enough cards/would like a distraction from LSAT prep...

If you would like a holiday card from me, please post ye address in the screened comments. If you gave me your address last year and haven't moved since, I still have it and just your name is fine.

Also, if you're vehemently against anything that says "Christmas" on it, please let me know. I think all my cards say Merry Christmas on them this year, but there's otherwise nothing remotely religious on them.
I do send internationally, so no fretting! I know I said last year that I wouldn't ship to outerspace, but if you're stuck on a battlestar this holiday season, I'll be glad to make an exception. ;)

Seems like large portions of my FL are sick. Kleenex and vitamin drops for all!

I'm worried about getting sick myself, since Thanksgiving is this weekend. I always seem to get sick around Thanksgiving for some reason. And I'm really hoping not to have a repeat of last year. Hopefully the worst I'll manage is a cold. I can deal with a cold.

I've begun submitting apps. Eep. My list got shorter, down to 8 schools for various reasons. I'm nervous. Very nervous. I mean, if I score 168 on the LSAT like I did on the practice test, I'm pretty much guaranteed admission to at least a couple places I'm applying, but it doesn't ease my nerves any.

Looking forward very much to Seattle/Vancouver in less than a week. :D West Coast, here I come baby!

In case you were wondering what the hell my last post was about, I went to the 1997 Sing-a-long at the drafthouse. It was completely awesome. Though I was disappointed that they did not play Barbie Girl. I was not expecting it to run for 2 1/2 hours, which it did, and I was up later than anticipated. Oh well.

One of the hosts proposed a drinking game where you drink whenever someone has eye sex with the camera, flips their unbuttoned shirt back, or it's raining. I was like "my god, you'd be sloshed by the end of Quit Playing Games (which was in fact played)."

The next one after the Xmas sing-a-long is 1999. Think for a second about all the awesome that was released in 1999. And the guy who runs these loves boybands and Britney Spears, so you know it's gonna be good. I'm looking forward to belting out I Want It That Way with a crowd of strangers. :D

In the meantime, they're hosting a 90s dance party on Saturday. I suspect that the crowd there will be a little closer to my age than the crowd at the 80s party. I love to dance, and it's nice to be able to without having to deal with the insanity that is 6th Street.

There is nothing better than a theater full of people belting out "My Heart Will Go On." That is all.

First practice test raw score 84. The book tells me this would translate to about a 168. I can deal with a 168. I'd like to do better, thus more practice is in order.

It's official: "Which most closely resembles the logic of the above statement?" are the most EVIL questions on that test.

My other Letter of Recommendation arrived at LSAC today. That means I'm ready to start submitting apps. Eep.

I got to go on a field trip at work today! They had me run to the County Courthouse to get copies of some documents. It was a nice break. Made a little longer by the fact that no one in Ops picked up my phone call because they thought I was a spam caller with an out of state area code.

I had a dream last night that AJ was at my apartment. Same apartment, only I had a wooden porch and a lake in my backyard. He had been there at a squeers get together (which sadly was not part of my dream) and had left something at my place. When he came back to get whatever it was, he stuck around and hung out for a while. Some other people showed up later, other cast members maybe. He also found a 2 liter of Mt. Dew in my hall closet which I didn't even know I had (I think I chalked it up to my mom buying it when she was here). I got on a chat site at some point with a couple people from the comm and was like "guess who's at my place??" It was a fun dream I must say.

Happy birthday [personal profile] safenthecity!

I keep thinking today is some sort of holiday. Anniversary of some big event maybe? I have no idea.

I HATE transcribing.
I'm so slow at it. Partly because I can't type nearly as fast as people talk, and partly because the only equipment I have to work with is Windows Media Player.
I wanted to *headdesk* all day. HATE IT.

1. Leave me a comment saying anything random, like your favorite lyric to your current favorite song. Or your favorite kind of sandwich. Something random. Whatever you like.
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. You update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.
